A place with character, with history - and with a lot of heart.
And who is Erika?
It all started with Erika - or to be more precise: Aunt Erika, Johannes' aunt. She welcomed her first guests in 1976 and looked after them like family members. With a warm-hearted sense of humor, an open ear, delicious food - and a passion for finding mushrooms that was legendary throughout the valley. She went out almost every day in search of chanterelles and porcini mushrooms. Some say she was a bit addicted to them.
We love to talk about her, reminisce with our guests - and can still feel her spirit throughout the house today. Her joie de vivre, her warmth, her sense of what makes a stay special: all of this still characterizes Gästehaus Erika today.
